What is Skate with Heart?

Skate with Heart is a youth-founded nonprofit organization that provides skateboards, safety gear, and mentorship to kids in need—using skateboarding as a tool for empowerment, confidence, and community.

Who started Skate with Heart?

Our founder, Tristan, launched Skate with Heart as part of his Eagle Scout project, inspired by his love for skateboarding and desire to help others. He’s supported by his mom, Lauren, and a team of volunteers who believe in skating with purpose.

Are donations tax-deductible?

We’re currently in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, but donations made through our GoFundMe are tax-deductible thanks to our fiscal partnership. Details are on our Donate page.

Can I donate gear instead of money?

Absolutely! We accept new and gently used skateboards, safety gear, helmets, and shoes. Visit our Roll with Us page or message us directly to arrange a gear donation or local drop-off.

How can I partner with Skate with Heart?

We’re always looking to team up with businesses, schools, and community orgs! If you're interested in sponsorships, collaborations, or hosting events, contact us through our Roll with Us page.

When can I sign up to volunteer?

We’re stoked you want to help! Our volunteer page is launching soon once we lock in our event calendar. In the meantime, sign up for updates so you’ll be the first to know!

Can kids be part of the team too?

Yes! Our Youth Crew is open to passionate young skaters and leaders who want to give back, help plan events, and represent Skate with Heart in the community.

Where is Skate with Heart based?

We’re based in Mobile, Alabama, but our mission and programs reach across the region—and beyond.
